Rebirth of sorts! :)

Ohhhhhh gosh! i am blogging almost after decades and that's why i call it a rebirth of sorts. :)

Just to say life was soooo different many years back. Today everything has changed. Have spent such wonderful times up on this blog, made some nice friends and there came a time when i got so caught up in work and new friends and other new commitments, that this blog took a complete side step.

Everything that was there yesterday has changed today.  And now, i am back here to this blog. Its strange that when everything you had leaves your side, this blog is still there just as i had left it many years back. How i wish similar would be the case with people in our lives. After many years too, when we return to them, i wish they would remain the same and what we shared with them too remained just as we had it earlier. WOW! what a beautiful dream right??! Some may think i am soooo stupid wanting to live in my own dream world. But then stupidity is one of the traits of my personality. Lolzz!

I still wonder how, when, where and why everything i had just suddenly slipped out of my hand. May be my grip on it was too strong, that it just slipped. But why do some beautiful relations, the perfect ones (at that particular point of time) to be precise......suddenly go beyond repair. They say changes in life should be well accepted as Change is the Only Constant. But how on earth is it so simple to let go off something on which you have betted your life.....

Well destiny and it's ways are sometimes pathetic, weird n awful and at times they are beautiful, magical n perfect. Time is the only deciding factor. So let's see where this all comes to.... and in what way it does so. Till then, hoping for the best, prepared for the worst.

Good Life

Picking up the lose threads of life I think I have moved on.
Picking up the shattered pieces of a beautiful dream I think I have moved on.

Now another life awaits me. I don’t know how this life is gonna be.
I don’t know where this life would begin and how it would end!

Just hoping this journey would be as exciting as the earlier one.
Don’t know what kind of roads this journey has.

I’m sure they are as deceptive as the earlier road was.
Every moment that would pass by me is surely going to be a farce.

All good things come to an end.
And so would this so-called GOOD LIFE.

Love You Forever!

I could stay awake just to hear you breathing
Watch you smile while you are sleeping
While you're far away dreaming
I could spend my life in this sweet surrender
I could stay lost in this moment forever
Every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure

Don't want to close my eyes
I don't want to fall asleep
Cause I'd miss you baby
And I don't want to miss a thing
Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream will never do
I'd still miss you baby
And I don't want to miss a thing

Lying close to you feeling your heart beating
And I'm wondering what you're dreaming
Wondering if it's me you're seeing
Then I kiss your eyes
And thank God we're together
I just want to stay with you in this moment forever
Forever and ever

I don't want to miss one smile
I don't want to miss one kiss
I just want to be with you
Right here with you, just like this
I just want to hold you close
Feel your heart so close to mine
And just stay here in this moment
For all the rest of time

Mumbai 7/11

(Dis has been sent to me by one of my friends......he speaks abt his experience here. Hoping that you all will appreciate wht has been written here)

Dear all,

Today's Mid-Day edit begins by saying that you don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand that the chain of events starting from the Bhiwandi riots to the desecration of Meenatai's statue and what happened as an aftermath, to the serial blasts on the trains yesterday, means somebody somewhere wants Mumbaikar's to spill out on the streets and grab each other by the throats.

Incidentally, these same somebody-- the faceless outcasts that they still
are-- have at least succeeded in one part of their plan. Mumbaikars have actually spilled out on to the streets.

The catch here is that they have failed to succeed in the second and most important part of their plan: that of getting Mumbaikars to grab each other by the throats. Mumbaikars spilled onto the streets-- in a collective show of the middle finger to those who proposed otherwise.

I know very well that you are already aware of how Mumbai stormed onto the streets to help the injured, the stranded and soothe the injuries that were still gaping along its life line.

There were capsules and capsules of streaming video that showed them offering water and refreshments to people stranded on SV Road and the Eastern and Western Express Highways.

There were captures of students of Sydenham and SNDT college, who camped at Churchgate station with the sole purpose of offering a bed to those stranded at the starting node of the life line.

And there was also that memorable grab of people standing patiently in front of KEM Hospital-- all in a serpentine queue, to donate blood. A result of which has been a no-shortage syndrome, when it comes to blood at all the hospitals where the injured are being treated or are recuperating.

But this is not about all that. And yet, it is about all that and more. It
is about the sights I saw and the people I met with, while travelling along the Western Express Highway to Kandivali yesterday, between 7 in the evening and one in the morning.

It is about that little kid and his grandfather near Dadar, who, perhaps in the absence of anybody else in the household, took to the streets with bottles of water and packets of biscuits to contribute in whatever way possible in managing the crisis. "Uncle, you must be thirsty," the kid told me while offering the bottle. A parched me drank gratefully. And I saw in those eyes no fear. So what did those terrorists think while planting the bomb? That was at least the silent way of making one statement-- "Terror, my foot.!"

It is also about those housewives in front of a housing society near Santa Cruz, who were standing with pots of piping tea, water and God only knows what else to help those passing by. And they had this board beside them which read "Beyond Borivli, Can Stay'. I was lucky to get a cab, but there were people who were trying to make it on foot. And they needed succor. Rest. Shelter. It was raining.

It is about the autorickshaw driver, who finally reached me home in the interiors of Kandivali at 1 in the morning. And refused to take the night fare, despite being legally empowered to charge extra. "Nehi saab, aaj ki baat alag hai. Aap thik thak ghar pohuj gaye, yeh hi kafi hai," he bid me goodbye at my doorstep.

It is also about the dabbawala who provides me with my dinner everyday. His shop is near the Borivli station, where there was one of the biggest blasts at 6:34 in the evening. Yet, at one o clock in the morning, the dabba was there waiting at my doorstp to be picked up. It didn't need a note. The piping hot food at such an unearthly hour said it all.

The terrorists succeeded in synchronising a series of blasts that stopped the Mumbai lifeline for somewhere around seven hours. That was all that they achieved on 7/11. The trains were back on track by 1:30 in the morning and they plied all through the night. I wonder if the masterminds will consider this before planning their next attack. I would urge them to-- if this reaches any one of them-- to rethink. After all, what did a year of planning, six months of smuggling dangerous explosives, extensive networking and crores achieve at the end-- arond 200 lives and just seven hours of disruption? Bus! I won't budge for that. In the deal they united more than they dreamt to rip apart.

And by the way, I did not spot any member of the celebrated Readers' Digest survey team yesterday on the roads. Or perhaps they were there-- reconsidering their statement.

I request whoever reads this, to forward it to as many people as
possible. At least that way, we will build an opinion against these
faceless faces of terror.........

They will never ever succeed!!

I'm highly disturbed by the recent blasts that rocked the city of Mumbai!! There were 7 blasts in a span of just 11 minutes all along the western suburbs. All this happened between 6:24 P.M. and 6:35 P.M. This particular time slot is called "the peak hours" as in maximum number of people travel by trains during this time!!

The main intention of doing all this was to spread a kind of panic amongst the public of Mumbai city. They want us to live in some kind of a terror. Disgusting!!    What do they think that they are doing some kind of a bravery act by doing all this!! They want to cripple Mumbai's lifeline......The Railways!!!

But how far have they been successful in doing so??? Yeah!! i do agree that for a few hours the trains have stopped running on the western side.....but in no time they will swing back in action.....n they will be back with a bang!! n so will the people of Mumbai city!!

No matter what befalls on this city of dreams, it never stops!! n mind u it will never!! Cannot forget to mention about the true heroes in this entire incident!!......yessss.....u guessed it rite!! the common man of Mumbai!! They have proved themselves time and again!! n they did so even today.........

They didn't wait for anyone and instantly started the relief work for the blast victims. People were quickly pulled out and taken to nearby hospitals. People from nearby localities came forward with their help.......irrespective of caste, religion, status!!! As the entire western rails were paralysed, more number of people decided to get back home asap via road. This obviously leaded to the over-flowing of people in buses and huge amount of traffic on the roads!! But can u believe it!!??.....there were people on the road........distributing food n water on the road to all the stranded passengers on their way back home!! n everyone's a stranger to each other!!!

WOW!!! This is something trully worth saluting these people for!! Hats off to them!! And next in line....who deserve to be saluted....are the policemen of the city.....First in the heavy torrential rains.....they were guiding the traffic, then came the Shiv-sena mob fury.......n now these blasts.....!! They have been on their toes constantly. Also, not to forget, the fire-brigade, the hospitals and ambulances.

For nothing on this earth are we....citizens of mumbai, gonna stop supporting each other.....n being there for each other!! And yeah.......did i hear someone calling us -- "a rude city!!"     huh!!?? Whteva!!!

Just 1 line that touched my heart!!!

well......today i was travelling from my home to Andheri......had to go to Andheri for some official purpose!! was travelling in the local train from Bandra to Andheri!!
As usual had my hearphones stuck to my ears njoying music along the journey!!

Most of ya must be aware that der r sum kind of bills stuck inside the trains!! sum r for jobs, ads, etc, etc.....just der saw a bill......a verrry small one though.....on it was written -"Lahaan mulaana bhik nahi......pencil dyaa!" (dis is in Marathi....n it means....small children who r begging, don't gv thm money.....gv them a pencil)

Do i need to say what was my reaction?? i was stunned.....n at d same time extremely touched by dis 1 line......it was such a nicely written line!! i had never thought in dis way!! Whole day i was thinking abt dis line......n i'm still!!

But tht's not all i'm gonna b doin......one day i'm gonna b working towards it!! i hope we all do d same!! whoever reads dis!!

lots of luv,
